The Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) is proud to support the growth of grassroots soccer across the province through our annual Reinvestment Grant program. For every mini soccer player registered, the MSA reinvests $4.00 directly back into the youth member organization that registered the player.
These funds are specifically designated to enhance grassroots programming and may be used for:
Equipment & Uniforms
Coach Honorariums & Training
Facility & Field Rentals
Grassroots Festivals or Special Events
To ensure these funds reach the field and benefit our youngest players, the MSA uses a Current Year Reporting Model. This streamlined process allows clubs to unlock their annual funding by documenting their current grassroots activities and investments.
Key Dates & Eligibility:
The Cycle: The program follows the soccer year from April 1 to March 31.
The Report: To receive funding, clubs must submit an electronic Annual Activity Report by April 15. This report details current grassroots initiatives and includes verification of expenditures from the past 12 months.
Payment: Once the report is verified and the club is confirmed in good standing, grant cheques are mailed by April 30.
A Fresh Start: We have removed the requirement for "catch-up" reporting from previous years. If a club misses a reporting deadline, they simply lose that year's funding but can regain eligibility the following year by submitting a report for the new cycle.
