Description:
Goalkeeper smothers the ball on the ground without being challenged.
Referee Focus:
- Determine when “control” is established
- Allow reasonable time to get up

Description:
Goalkeeper holds the ball while being pressured; attacker then backs away.
Referee Focus:
- Delay or pause count while under pressure
- Resume count once pressure is removed
- No offense if release is timely

Description:

- Clearly communicate remaining time (e.g., “Two!") to give a chance to the goalkeeper to play the ball.
- Apply proper mechanics to conclusion
